ProRep Hemp Bedding is a soft, fibrous substrate made from dried, chopped hemp stems. It is absorbent, dust-free and biodegradable, providing a dry, soft base for suitable snakes, tortoises and small mammals. Spread it to an appropriate depth for the animal and enclosure, remove soiled patches regularly and replace the bedding as needed. Check the species' humidity and husbandry requirements before selecting any substrate; hemp is not a universal choice for every reptile habitat.

Usage Guidance
Spread the bedding evenly across the bottom of the enclosure to a depth of approximately 2.5–5cm (1–2 inches).
Spot-clean daily and replace the bedding completely every 2–3 weeks, or sooner if it becomes heavily soiled or wet.
Safety & Warnings
- Use as a dry substrate.
- Replace damp or wet bedding promptly, as it may mould or rot.
- When using an under-tank heat mat, avoid excessively deep layers of bedding as this can contribute to overheating.
- Follow the heat mat manufacturer's instructions where applicable.
