The Holistic Hound Don’t Bug Me Flea & Tick Repellent
Help keep unwanted pests at bay with The Holistic Hound Don’t Bug Me, a plant-based spot-on repellent formulated for use on pets. This easy-to-apply topical solution uses geraniol to help repel fleas and ticks without relying on conventional neurotoxic insecticides.
Geraniol is a naturally occurring aromatic compound with a light rose-like scent. Once applied directly to the skin, the oil spreads across the coat and skin surface, helping disrupt the scent signals used by fleas and ticks to locate a suitable host.
The concentrated 50ml bottle provides repeated applications and is designed for routine use approximately every four weeks. Pets that swim frequently, are shampooed regularly or spend significant time in wooded or higher-risk areas may require more frequent application in accordance with the product label.

Active ingredient
Geraniol: 1% w/v
Geraniol is supplied in a soluble sesame-oil carrier.
The finished solution may be colourless or pale yellow and has a naturally sweet, rose-like scent.

Directions for use
Shake the bottle thoroughly before application.
Part the coat so that the product can be applied directly to the skin. Apply approximately 10–20 drops, beginning around the neck or scruff and continuing towards the base of the tail.
Under normal conditions, apply once every four weeks.
For pets that swim frequently, are shampooed regularly or spend significant time in wooded or higher-risk environments, the manufacturer recommends reapplying approximately every two weeks.
Follow the directions printed on the physical product label, as the required application may depend on the individual animal and its lifestyle.
Water resistance
Don’t Bug Me is water resistant but not waterproof.
Normal light exposure to moisture should not immediately remove the product. However, frequent swimming, bathing or shampooing may reduce its effectiveness and require an earlier reapplication.

This product contains geraniol and may produce an allergic reaction. Stop using it and seek appropriate veterinary advice if your pet develops irritation, redness, excessive scratching or another unexpected reaction.
Avoid allowing the animal to lick the application area while it is still wet. Prevent contact with the eyes, nose, mouth and other sensitive areas.
Consult your veterinary professional before use if your pet has an existing skin condition, known allergies or sensitivities, is receiving veterinary treatment or has previously reacted to topical products.
Keep the bottle securely closed and out of reach of children and animals.
Use biocides safely and sustainably. Dispose of unused contents and packaging according to the product label and local waste regulations.
Storage
Store securely in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture.
Keep the cap tightly closed between applications. Do not use the product if the container is damaged, leaking or contaminated.
