• Lengths describe the fitting rather than the outer packaging. Allow extra space for connections, mounting and ventilation.
• Choose output and placement for the plants and animals, taking account of enclosure height and mesh. Provide shaded areas.

• Disconnect the electricity before fitting. Secure the bar using the supplied mounting hardware, or position above suitable mesh following the instructions.
• Keep the fitting, cables and connections dry and away from misting jets. This standard fitting is not the IP65 LumenIZE model.
• Keep the light out of reach of animals and provide suitable protection where animals could contact the fitting.
• Use the supplied standard link system with compatible standard JungleDawn or ProT5 fittings only. Follow the maximum linked-load limits in the instructions and on the label.
• Use a suitable lighting timer if required and provide an appropriate dark period. Do not use a dimmer unless expressly permitted by the manufacturer.
• Install separate UVB and thermostatically controlled heating where the species requires them.

• Switch off, unplug and allow the bar to cool before cleaning or maintenance.
• Gently remove dust from the light-emitting surface and body with a dry cloth. Do not immerse.
• Check cables, connectors and mounting clips regularly; do not use damaged electrical equipment.
• Store unplugged in a dry place, protected from moisture and impact.

• For specialist enclosure lighting. Not intended for general household illumination.
• High light output: do not look directly into the LEDs when lit.
• The fitting can become hot. Prevent animal contact, maintain ventilation and follow all supplied clearances.
• Do not open or attempt to repair the electrical fitting. Dispose of electrical equipment through an appropriate WEEE recycling facility.
