Bella Cat Nail Scissors

Keep your cat’s claws neat and manageable with the Bella Cat Nail Scissors. Their small, lightweight design is made specifically for controlled trimming around smaller paws, giving you a clear view of the claw while you work.

The compact scissor-style handles sit comfortably between the fingers and provide precise control when removing the sharp transparent tip of a cat’s claw. Curved cutting blades follow the natural shape of the nail, helping you position the scissors accurately without using a large or bulky grooming tool.

Measuring approximately 8 × 5.5 cm, these nail scissors are easy to keep in a home grooming kit and are suitable for routine claw maintenance when used carefully.

How to use

Choose a quiet area where your cat feels comfortable. Hold one paw gently and apply light pressure to the paw pad to extend the claw.

Identify the clear, pointed end of the nail and the darker or pink inner section known as the quick. Position the blades around only the transparent tip and make one careful, controlled cut.

Trim a small amount at a time. It is safer to leave the claw slightly longer than to risk cutting too close to the quick.

Some cats may be more comfortable having only one or two claws trimmed during each session. Keep grooming sessions calm and brief, and stop if your cat becomes distressed or begins pulling away strongly.

Important safety information

Trim only the transparent tip of the claw.

Do not cut into the pink or darker inner section, as this contains blood vessels and nerves and may cause pain and bleeding.

Dark claws can make the quick difficult to see. Remove only a very small section from the pointed tip or seek help from a veterinary professional or experienced groomer.

Do not use blunt, damaged, rusty or misaligned scissors. A dull cutting edge may crush or split the claw instead of cutting it cleanly.

Keep the scissors away from children and store them securely when not in use.

These scissors are intended for routine pet grooming only.

Cleaning and care

Wipe the blades after every use to remove claw fragments and surface dirt.

Where necessary, clean the blades using a slightly damp cloth and dry them immediately. Do not leave the metal components wet, as prolonged moisture may damage the cutting surface.

Store the scissors in a clean, dry place. Check the blades, pivot and handles regularly and replace the product if any component becomes loose, cracked, blunt, corroded or damaged.
