Classic Crystal Deluxe Small Animal Drinking Bottle – 150 ml

Provide your small pet with convenient access to fresh drinking water using the Classic Crystal Deluxe Small Animal Drinking Bottle. With a 150 ml capacity, this compact bottle is designed for hamsters, gerbils, mice and other suitably sized small pets.

The transparent bottle makes it easy to monitor the remaining water level, helping owners see when the bottle needs to be cleaned or refilled. Its compact size fits neatly against most compatible wire cages without taking up valuable space inside the enclosure.

The bottle is made from durable, clear PET plastic and is fitted with a stainless-steel drinking tube. A twin-ball mechanism inside the drinking spout releases water as the animal moves the lower ball with its tongue, while helping reduce unwanted dripping between drinks.

A gnaw-resistant angled cap connects the bottle to the metal drinking tube, helping protect the most accessible components from normal chewing. A fixing wire is included for attaching the bottle securely to the outside of a compatible wire enclosure.

Suitable for

This 150 ml bottle is suitable for small pets including:

  • Hamsters
  • Gerbils
  • Mice
  • Dwarf hamsters
  • Small groups of mice
  • Other similarly sized small animals

Suitability will depend on the number of animals, their individual water consumption and how frequently the bottle is checked and refilled.

Larger animals or groups sharing an enclosure may require a larger-capacity bottle or more than one source of drinking water.

How to fill and install

Wash the bottle thoroughly before first use.

Fill it completely with fresh drinking water and tighten the cap securely. Turn the bottle into its normal hanging position. A small number of initial drops may be released while the internal vacuum forms.

Attach the bottle securely to the outside of a compatible wire enclosure using the supplied fixing wire. Position the drinking spout at a comfortable height where the animal can reach it without stretching excessively or crouching awkwardly.

Press the ball at the end of the drinking tube with a clean finger to confirm that water is flowing correctly before leaving the bottle with your pet.

Cleaning and care

Replace the water daily and rinse the bottle before refilling.

Wash the bottle regularly using warm water and a suitable bottle brush. Clean the drinking tube carefully to remove residue or mineral build-up.

Rinse every component thoroughly to ensure no cleaning-product residue remains. Allow the bottle to drain and dry before storing.

Do not use abrasive tools that could heavily scratch the clear plastic.

Daily checks

Check the drinking bottle every day to ensure:

  • Fresh water is available
  • The drinking tube is dispensing correctly
  • The bottle has not become blocked
  • The cap is fitted securely
  • The bottle has not shifted position
  • Water is not leaking excessively
  • The fixing wire remains secure

Mineral deposits from water can gradually collect around the drinking balls and tube. Regular testing is therefore important, even when water remains visible inside the bottle.

Safety information

Always test the water flow after filling, cleaning or repositioning the bottle.

Ensure the fixing wire and bottle are securely attached so they cannot fall into the enclosure. Inspect the bottle, cap, wire and drinking tube regularly and replace the product if any part becomes cracked, loose, heavily chewed, corroded or damaged.

Consider keeping a spare drinking bottle available in case the main bottle becomes blocked, damaged or unusable.

Never leave an animal without a reliable supply of fresh drinking water.
