The tray measures approximately 50 cm long and features a low front entrance, making it easier for kittens, adult cats, senior cats and cats with reduced mobility to step inside. With no removable rim or enclosed hood, the entire tray remains easy to access for daily scooping and regular cleaning.
Made from smooth, durable plastic, the Iriz 50 is lightweight enough to reposition when empty while remaining sturdy during normal use. Its gently raised sides help contain litter during everyday toileting, while the lowered entrance provides more comfortable access.
The open format is particularly suitable for cats that feel uncomfortable using covered litter boxes or dislike entering through enclosed doors and flaps. It also allows owners to monitor litter levels and changes in their cat’s toileting habits more easily.

Dimensions

The 50 cm length provides more room than smaller kitten trays, but owners should still check that the tray is appropriately sized for their individual cat.
Your cat should be able to enter, turn around, dig and adopt a comfortable toileting position without being restricted by the sides. Large or long-bodied cats may require a larger tray.

The non-porous surface can be wiped or rinsed during routine cleaning. Avoid using abrasive brushes that could scratch the surface and create areas where waste, litter residue or odours can collect.
How to use
Place the tray on a flat, stable and easily cleaned surface in a quiet area that your cat can access without difficulty.
Add an appropriate depth of cat litter according to the litter manufacturer’s instructions. Avoid overfilling the tray, as excess litter may be pushed through the lowered entrance when your cat digs.
Remove clumps and solid waste at least once daily. Top up with fresh litter as required and complete a full litter change regularly based on the litter type, number of cats and frequency of use.

Cleaning and care
Empty all used litter before washing the tray.
Clean the plastic using warm water and a mild pet-safe cleaning product. Rinse thoroughly to remove any remaining cleaning residue and allow the tray to dry completely before adding fresh litter.
Avoid heavily scented cleaning products, as strong or unfamiliar fragrances may discourage some cats from using the tray.
Clean the litter tray separately from food bowls, kitchen utensils and food-preparation equipment.
Safety and hygiene
Place the tray where it cannot slide, tip or create a trip hazard.
Inspect the plastic regularly and replace the tray if it becomes cracked, warped, split or develops sharp edges.
Wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter or cleaning the tray.
Pregnant people and individuals with weakened immune systems should avoid handling soiled cat litter where possible or follow appropriate medical and hygiene guidance.
