Ingredient overview

Organic beeswax helps form a light protective layer over the skin, reducing moisture loss and supporting the natural skin barrier.

Calendula is traditionally used in topical herbal preparations developed for dry, delicate or irritated skin.

Coconut oil acts as an emollient, helping soften and moisturise rough skin and paw pads.

Lavender essential oil is included as part of the balm’s soothing herbal formulation.

Tea tree oil is traditionally used in topical skin-care preparations to help maintain a clean skin environment.

Snout & Paw Balm is suitable for dogs requiring routine care for:

• Dry paw pads
• Rough or cracked paw pads
• Dry or crusty noses
• Skin exposed to cold, gritty or rough outdoor conditions
• Paws following canine sports or outdoor work

This product is not suitable for cats.

Apply a small amount directly to the required area.

Gently massage the balm into the nose or paw pads until it has been spread evenly. Apply as often as required according to your dog’s individual needs and the directions on the product label.

For best results, apply when the paws or nose are clean and dry.

Allow the balm time to absorb before allowing your dog to walk across carpets or furniture. Where possible, distract your dog briefly after application to discourage immediate licking.

Seasonal paw care

During colder weather, clean and dry your dog’s paws after walks to remove grit, dirt and road salt before applying the balm.

During warmer weather, use the balm to support normal moisture levels in dry paw pads. Paw balm does not prevent heat injury and should never be used as a substitute for avoiding hot roads, paving or other heated surfaces.

Check walking surfaces with your hand before allowing your dog onto them and choose cooler walking times during hot weather.

Active and working dogs

Dogs involved in hiking, agility, working activities and other outdoor exercise may place additional pressure on their paw pads.

Inspect the paws after activity and remove stones, grit or debris caught between the toes. Apply a small amount of balm to clean, dry paw pads where moisturising care is required.

Do not apply balm over deep cuts, punctures or actively bleeding areas without veterinary guidance.

For external use only.

Not suitable for cats.

Avoid direct contact with the eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. Do not apply to deep wounds, infected skin or actively bleeding areas.

Stop using the balm if redness, swelling, irritation or another unexpected reaction occurs.

Seek veterinary advice if your dog has:

• Deep or painful cracks
• Bleeding paw pads
• Persistent licking or chewing
• Swelling or discharge
• Signs of infection
• Ongoing nose dryness or crusting
• Difficulty walking
• Symptoms that do not improve
  

This product is intended to support routine skin care and should not replace veterinary diagnosis or treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.

Keep the lid securely closed between uses and store the tub out of reach of children and animals.

Do not use the product if the container is damaged or the contents appear contaminated.
