Vadigran Classic Foldable Wire Dog Crate
Give your dog a comfortable, clearly defined space for resting, short-term containment and travel with the Vadigran Classic Foldable Wire Dog Crate. Available in four useful sizes, this practical metal crate can be used at home, during training or while travelling when it is properly secured.
The open wire construction provides airflow and allows your dog to see what is happening around them. Two access doors make it easier to position the crate in different areas of the home, while individual latch closures help keep each door securely closed during normal use.
A removable base tray helps protect the floor beneath the crate and makes everyday cleaning more manageable. The crate also features non-slip corner pieces to help reduce movement on smooth indoor flooring.
When the crate is not required, its foldable design allows it to collapse into a flatter shape for storage. A detachable carrying handle makes the empty folded crate easier to reposition, although larger sizes may require two people to lift safely.

63 cm
Approximately 63 × 44 × 50 cm.
This compact size may be suitable for smaller dogs and puppies, depending on the individual dog’s adult measurements.
93 cm
Approximately 93 × 58 × 64 cm.
This size provides additional room for medium-sized dogs that need more space to stand, turn and lie comfortably.
107 cm
Approximately 107 × 70 × 78 cm.
This larger crate is designed for dogs that require more internal height and floor space.
122 cm – Black

The largest available variant is supplied in black and provides more room for suitably sized large dogs.

Choosing the correct size
Your dog should be able to:
- Stand naturally without crouching
- Turn around comfortably
- Lie down fully
- Rest without being tightly restricted
- Enter and leave without difficulty
A crate that is too small may restrict normal movement, while an unnecessarily large crate may feel less secure for some dogs during initial crate training.
Measure your dog from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail and from the floor to the top of the head or ears. Allow additional space for comfortable movement and bedding.
Design
Door and frame design
The Classic crate includes two access doors, each fitted with a latch.
Having more than one entrance allows the crate to be positioned against different walls or furniture arrangements while retaining a usable doorway.
The wire frame uses approximately 3.2 mm metal wire and folds down when not required. Check that all panels are completely unfolded and locked into their intended positions before allowing your dog inside.
Base tray
A removable base tray is included to provide a solid floor and make routine cleaning easier.
Place appropriate crate bedding or a washable mat over the tray to provide comfort and grip. Ensure bedding lies flat and cannot become tangled around the doors or frame.
Do not allow a dog to remain directly on a damaged, cracked or heavily chewed tray.
Introducing the crate
Introduce the crate gradually and allow your dog to explore it at their own pace.
Place comfortable bedding inside and initially leave the door open. Treats, feeding or calm praise can be used to build a positive association with the space.
Never force a frightened dog into the crate or use it as punishment. Crate training should be gradual, calm and appropriate for the dog’s age, temperament and previous experience.
Puppies may require frequent toilet breaks and should not be expected to remain confined for long periods.
Home use
Position the crate in a quiet, well-ventilated area where your dog can rest while still feeling included in normal household activity.
Keep it away from:
- Direct heat sources
- Strong sunlight
- Draughts
- Busy doorways
- Stairs
- Areas where the crate could be knocked or tipped
Never place heavy objects on top of the crate.
Travel guidance
When using the crate during a car journey, secure it so that it cannot slide, tip or move during braking and cornering.
This wire crate has not been verified as crash-tested and should not be treated as a certified vehicle-restraint system.
It has also not been verified as compliant with airline or IATA animal-transport requirements. Always check the transport provider’s rules before travelling.
Never leave a dog unattended in a parked vehicle.
Cleaning and care
Remove bedding and loose debris regularly.
Slide out the base tray and wash it using warm water and a mild pet-safe cleaning product. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before returning it to the crate.
Wipe the wire frame with a damp cloth and dry it to reduce the risk of corrosion.

Stop using the crate if any wire becomes broken, bent or sharp, or if the doors and latches no longer close securely.
Important safety information

Remove collars, leads, harnesses and hanging tags before leaving a dog inside, as these may become caught on the wire.
Do not lift or carry the crate while your dog is inside.
